The 2012 Youth Gathering is fast approaching! A commitment deadline is scheduled for September 7, 2011. This commitment involves a $150.00 nonrefundable deposit per participant. Make checks payable to St. James with “2012 Youth Gathering” noted in the memo line. Please see that checks are given to Sue Mort by September 7. This nonrefundable deposit will be your commitment to St. James to participate and will be used as the initial deposit for the Youth Gathering event. A meeting to move forward with more detailed planning of the event will be scheduled later in September for those who have made this commitment.. Thanks much!!
Club 345 is an outreach to children in grades 3, 4 and 5. Events are planned with a devotion, snack or meal, along with a learning activity. Activities have included: ice skating, horseback riding, Juniata College Men's Volleyball night, movie themes, visits to the humane society and nursing home visit, bringing flowering pots to share.

There is nothing more beautiful and inspiring than to hear the clear, pure sound of children's voices engaged in singing praises to God. St. James is providing an opportunity for children in grades 1-5 to be a part of a youth choir. The choir rehearses every Wednesday from 3:45- 4:45 p.m. in room 7. Session 1 is September 14th-October 23rd and Session 2 is November 9th-December 18th. The choir will be singing at the 10:45 a.m. service, twice a session.
