Join us on Sunday mornings, 9:30 - 10:45, September through May, for Christian Education opportunities of learning for all ages! The fourth Sunday of each month the intergenerational, In Touch Presentations are planned for all. This is a learning opportunity for the whole community of faith gathered together. Other offerings include:First Communion learning for children in the second grade, or children whose parents feel thay are ready for first communion., is offered each year. Two classes include individual booklets, films and the Bible The class bakes bread together on the Saturday before their first commuion. This bread is the communion bread on that Sunday for the gathered community of faith.
Confirmation learning offered for youth in the 7th through 9th grade. (Parents are encouraged to talk to Pr. Suzanne about their son/daughter's involvement.) Confirmation is a time to experience in action and study the basics of the Christian faith. Our material is the Bible and Luther's Catechism along with age-related, present-day material. We use a variety of learning methods mixed with losts of fun. Part of the confirmation process is Confircamp at Camp Sequanota the first year, and a service trip the second year. We also participate in local service and the soup kitchen and Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
